In our Pivot Family fixtures, we create "an ecosystem in which all the elements are interrelated, interdependent, perfectly balanced, without trimming or un-utilized parts" - to borrow from the painter Charley Harper, whose minimal realism always inspires. The geometry of the spun aluminum shade is designed to visually extend the lines of the steel arm and the cloth cord that hold each shade aloft. The machined collar is also a complex but essential component, providing an elegant transition from each shade to the more delicate lines of its supporting arm.
DOUBLE PIVOT CHANDELIER
Our largest fixture at just under 10-feet long, the Double Pivot Chandelier features 10 shades held aloft through a simple armature of cords and rods. The Double Pivot Chandelier is right at home in lobbies, entryways and board rooms. A tensegrity structure, the fixture's cloth electrical cords resist in tension the compression force of the steel rods for a buoyant and dramatic finished look. Each chandelier is built to order in our Los Angeles studio and breaks down for easy shipping.
LONG PIVOT CHANDELIER
The long arm of our Long Pivot Chandelier is balanced by four shorter arms that drop down to create intimacy. This chandelier is the perfect fixture over long dining tables, where the effect is striking: adjustable shades float in space as the simple armature all but disappears.
The Pivot Chandelier combines the tensegrity form of our Cord Family with the spun shades and cast collars of our Pivot series. The result is a visually light, well-balanced fixture with the added adjustability of spun metal shades. This chandelier's size is well suited to large dining rooms or entrance ways.
PIVOT 3 ARM PENDANT
The dynamic Pivot 3 Arm Pendant is well-suited to illuminate any space. The three radiating arms of the fixture terminate in die cast collars, which cradle spun metal shades. A member of our tensegrity family of fixtures, the Pivot Pendant is a carefully balanced structure with cloth electrical cords that resist in tension the compression force of its brass or steel arms.
The simple armature of the Pivot Sconce rotates freely from a wall-mounted bracket. The sconce features an adjustable spun metal shade craddled in a machined metal collar which can be pivoted to provide light where needed. Available hardwired with wall plate for connecting to junction boxes.
