DIRECTOR OF HR & FINANCE

Brendan Ravenhill Studio seeks a Director of HR & Finance to guide our Studio culture and manage our finances. The ideal candidate is passionate about employee engagement and has experience organizing community building activities and implementing DEI initiatives. They are a key member of the leadership team and work closely with the Managing Director and Department Directors to develop and foster career paths for all Studio roles. They are the champion of the employee experience and must maintain a safe and inclusive workplace for all members of the Studio. They are also responsible for keeping the Studio in good financial health. They run the day-to-day finances and support decision-making through financial modeling and analysis. The Director of HR & Finance represents a unique perspective on the company’s wellbeing and is an essential part of its success and growth. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys a significant degree of autonomy, both at a high level and in the weeds of the daily financial operations. The Finance Manager handles everything from A/R, A/P and payroll to recommending courses of action to the leadership team through ad-hoc modeling and analysis. The Finance Manager is a key team player who regularly interacts with all departments and is often called upon by teammates to join workshops and brainstorms to represent the “finance voice.” This role contributes to the Studio’s success and sustainable growth through their timeliness and accuracy, their sound oversight and long-term thinking, and their ability to distill complexity into simple solutions.
